Neckover Gooseneck/ Bumper Pull Livestock Trailer Reviews

Neckover Livestock Trailer Shopping?
Everybody wants to save money. It's just the way it is. That's why our initial thoughts always revert back to a low advertised price. It's attractive and appealing to
our eyes and the pocket book. But like that new truck we just bought, we now revert back to the shoulda, coulda, woulda thoughts. Let's don't do this with the Livestock Trailer.
So, let's put some thought into it
!

Q: What are you Hauling?

If you're hauling light weight animals such as, small to miniature cows, calves, goats/ sheep or pigs, Upgrades and Premium Options my not be as important to you as saving money. The same thoughts go for traveling short distances with very few animals like trips to the local auction or a trip to the Vet.

Q: Want to Save Money? Stripping away options is the fastest way to reduce the cost of a trailer. Although the standard options are the same in most sizes, it's the add-ons/ options that increase the price. Just like that new truck! Note: Be cautious of Low Priced Advertised Trailers! Read, then call the dealer and ask exactly how the trailer you are interested in is optioned. This will save you time and grief before traveling.

Q: What are you giving up?
Tires- are one of the quickest ways to start saving. 14-Ply Radials are usually an upgrade, but without them, you could actually end up on the side of the road with a blowout due to Road Heat and Heavy Loads.

Q: What Axles Should I Choose- Spring Axles are standard and less expensive, but they are acceptable to extended maintenance, repair and an uncomfortable ride. Torsion axles provide a smoother, quieter ride with less maintenance.

Q: How Many Doors/ Gates? Less Doors, Less Gates, Less Money. However, extra-cuts gates are essential to loading and sorting, and an escape door comes in handy for walk throughs and roadside inspection of Livestock. Neckover offers two types of Rear Doors. Butterfly Doors are standard, while Combo-Doors are an upgrade, but most popular. Premium Models are usually equipped with (3) Cut Gates on 20 foot and up models.

Frame Work- 6" Plank Siding is standard, but you can upgrade to stronger Rectangular Tubing Siding on our Premium Models that include a Reinforced Rear Header Light Bar.

Rubber Flooring vs. Wood- Nothing is more important than a sound animal. After all, without good healthy legs, your livestock is worth nothing. Don't let a slip or fall on a wooden floor ruin your animal's health. Protect your Investment with Rubber-Cleated Flooring.
